Abstract
This report investigates the problem of re-useable materials being sent unnecessarily from Dalhousie’s residence buildings to land fills. This problem is investigated with the use of qualitative and quantitative methods, which confirm the need and feasibility of a waste diversion program that would divert re-useable materials from landfills towards alternate uses.
