Immigrants and the Nova Scotia Justice System: Identifying Issues and Assessing the Feasibility of Further Research

Abstract

This modest pilot project has focused on exploring the possibility of a major project examining how immigrants in Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) view the significant problem of violence, crime and public safety in HRM and what their experiences in these regards may have been as offenders, victims, witnesses or support persons
