dc.description.abstract | Hybrid mixture explosions were investigated in an industrial polymer production process. Dust explosion likelihood and severity parameters were determined using standardized testing at the Dalhousie Dust Explosion Laboratory. Hybrid mixture explosions were investigated in the form of explosion regime diagrams. These diagrams will be supplied to the process operators and designers to better implement safety measures in the system. | |
