Item is a photograph of William Henry Torey (December 14, 1863 - ?) and his daughter Carita Blanchard Torey (October 10, 1890 - April 1983). William is wearing a high collar seated and Carita is seated on arm of chair; bust. Carita's mother was Carita Frances Ryerson, died shortly after giving birth to Carita. Carita was cared for by her grandparents John and Sarah Torey but she lived with her father again after he remarried Rachel "Rae" Ross.
