dc.description.abstract | This study explores the relationship between culture and health on Nigerian food blogs through content and componential analysis. I sought to understand what elements constitute certain dishes, such as the staple of “soup” through sampling common Nigerian recipes discussed across selected blogs. Out of over 54 soups with over 220 variations, it was discovered that only seven of these soups had consistent patterning across the blogs sampled. An additional finding was a strong relationship between food and health emphasized on the blogs. | en_US |
