| dc.description.abstract | The Nova Scotia Restorative Justice (NSRJ) program for young offenders began in November 1999 at four regional sites after almost two years of intensive consultation and preparatory planning. The program expanded in 2001 to provide restorative justice (RJ) services to youth province-wide, delivered by non-profit, community-based organizations throughout Nova Scotia. In 2010, a pilot project was initiated to deliver RJ programming to adult offenders in two areas of Nova Scotia. | en_US |
