dc.description.abstractPostpartum depression is a significant illness that affects mothers‘ ability to care for themselves and their infant. Left untreated, it has been associated with insecure attachment in infants and emotional difficulties in children, yet many mothers do not seek help. This study begins to examine some of the reasons why.
