| dc.description.abstract | This study documents ways that preschooler‘s display health literacy. A participant-observation qualitative study in a preschool classroom (n=28) involved the introduction of health care materials for child-directed play. Six themes illustrate children‘s understanding, knowledge and behavior about health and health care as observed during the health care play. | |
