The Delabat manuscripts came from the west coast of France, and represent originals, not existing in any of the great libraries of either Europe or America. The handwriting bears a very close resemblance to the Delabat letter to Villermont and the dates are approximately the same. His maps disclose a great deal of detail and valuable hints as to the identification of places on the Annapolis River as far as Paradis Terrestreen_US
